    On January 26, New Orleans legend Kermit Ruffins, who played himself in the HBO series Tremé, will take the stage. Ruffins is a trumpeter and vocalist continuing the legacy of NOLA’s favorite son, Louis Armstrong. His band, the Barbecue Swingers, has been delighting audiences for over twenty-five years. With high-energy performances and his infectious personality, he captures the sound and, more importantly, the spirit of the city.
