Your day begins with a scenic drive from San Francisco to the idyllic south Napa region in the heart of Carneros. Here you will find the relaxed and inviting new Migration wine tasting space.

After enjoying your special greeting wine, your host and wine educator will lead you on a tour of the production facility that includes the wine-making facilities and bottling process, all abuzz with the rush of harvest.

Settle into the beautifully appointed seated areas to enjoy a flight of four Migration’s acclaimed single vineyard cool-climate Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.

Sterling Vineyards was founded in 1964 by Oxford graduate and successful businessman Peter Newton. For your hosted wine tasting experience, you visit the incredible 24-acre Sequoia Grove Estate Vineyard, where the superb climate and gravelly loam soils impart a distinct flavor in their Bordeaux-styled varietals.

On your tour of the property, you visit the 19th century restored barn where it all started and enjoy the serenity amidst the circular grove of redwoods on the property. You will learn their selfless vision of farming for the future through sustainable farming practices, evident in their elegant whites, rosé and red wines. They are highly regarded for their Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc wines. Your tasting experience featuring a flight of five Cabernet varietal wines, paired with small artisanal bites procured by the winery chef. Setting is under the shade of the estate gardens. 

About Sequoia Grove

Our present-day winery and its 24-acre estate vineyard were part of the original Rancho Caymus land grant given in 1836 to George Yount, the area’s first European-American pioneer. Over the years, the property changed hands until it was purchased in 1978 by James and Barbara Allen. The following year, the duo opened a winery in a 100-year-old barn beneath a grove of Sequoia trees, and so Sequoia Grove was born.

About Etude Winery

Tucked away in the far northwest corner of the esteemed Carneros appellation is a rambling tract of grazing land that is bisected by the Rodgers Creek Fault Line at the southern toe of Sonoma Mountain. Unlike customary Carneros acreage, which is largely uplifted by bottoms with soils composed of clay, the soils on the Etude Estate site are variations of volcanic origin. They are well drained, rocky upland soils. Combining these soils with the extreme western location closer to the Pacific Ocean makes this site a decidedly distinct destination (if not entirely atypical for Carneros). Etude believes sustainable farming results in better, higher quality wine, and ensures the viability of their estate for generations to come. This tour departs San Francisco taking into the St Helena appellation, and we are indeed honored to be able to include the historic and beautiful Beringer Vineyards. Beringer Vineyards embodies the timeless appeal and seductive flavor of the Napa Valley. As the region’s oldest and continuously operating winery, Beringer is an American wine icon built on 145 years of winemaking tradition. 

Located in the of the heart of Beringer’s picturesque property, we have created a private tasting experience in the world-renowned event space, the Hudson House. Built in the mid-1800s, the Hudson House was the home of founder, Jacob Beringer. This is a seated tasting where guests will learn how four Beringer wines interact with the following items: Salt, slice of lemon, slice of apple, aged gouda and a creamy brie.  Cause and effect deductive tasting takes you through the nuances of why a wine looks, smells and tastes the way it does.

Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate

This wine tour is exclusively reserved for Sonoma wineries. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and Napa Valley, Sonoma County is blessed with a versatile landscape which is strongly impacted by maritime influences. The cooler climate is conducive to growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and cool-climate Syrah. Most vineyards in Sonoma are above the fog line so they don’t lose the warmth required to enable grapes to ripen in time for harvest.

The late Jess Jackson, visionary winemaker and founder of Kendall-Jackson, was noted for popularizing Chardonnay with his Kendall-Jackson Winery.

Your visit to Kendall-Jackson will take you on a tour of the winery to learn of its unique pioneering history, a wander through their lush sensory gardens, while tasting the fruits of their labor by way of an informal tasting that will take you through Kendall-Jackson’s world class selection of limited-release, coastal California wines.

About Kendall-Jackson

Purchasing 80-acre apple and walnut orchard in 1982 and replanting Chardonnay grapevines, they set about making a premium yet affordable Californian Wine. Jess sold the first case ever of Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay at the Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station. That same year, the inaugural vintage of Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay won the first-ever Platinum Award for an American Chardonnay at The American Wine Competition.

Kendall-Jackson was officially on the map.

DeLoach Vineyards

Lunch with paired wines event: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Your experience at Deloach takes on a relaxing informal setting in natural surroundings. Experience a taste of our Estate wines while you’re on a walking tour where the grapes are grown! You’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of our Theatre of Nature, Sycamore Grove and Estate Patio and Garden while sampling the wine from our beautiful terroir, all grown in their Organic and Demeter-certified Biodynamic Estate Vineyard. The half-acre culinary garden includes vegetables and herbs, as well as medicinal plants such as yarrow, chamomile and dandelion, which are used in Biodynamic compost preparations. 

For the casual lunch option, the winery will dedicate space in the Grove, a stunning outdoor venue, shaded by large sycamore trees with views of the vineyards and culinary gardens. Enjoy a light assortments of sandwich platters with varied meats, turkey, roast beef and tuna. Vegetarian options can be arranged on request. Guests are treated to five offerings of the DeLoach’s vineyard-designate wines.

DeLoach Vineyards was started in 1975 by Cecil DeLoach, Christine DeLoach, Berle Beliz and Jack Fleming, and was one of the first wineries established in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California after Prohibition. The Boisset family of Burgundy, France purchased DeLoach in November 2003. About Gloria Ferrer Wine Estate

José Ferrer championed his family’s dream of producing exceptional traditional method sparkling wine in the New World. In the 1980s, he ventured from Barcelona, Spain to Sonoma, California with his wife Gloria in search of the ultimate region to make sparkling wine. They settled upon Carneros. For the Ferrers, whose Spanish sparkling winegrowing experience goes back generations, the potential of Los Carneros was unmistakable, even before it became an established AVA. At the heart of Anaba Wines lies the extraordinary journey of John Sweazey, the driving force behind this family-owned winery. John’s path to creating a world-class wine estate spans four decades and stands as a testament to his diverse experiences and unyielding dedication. Hailing from suburban Park Ridge, IL, John’s trajectory took him from studying business at Stanford University to venturing into computer sales and embarking on a transformative European exploration in a VW van. This adventure ignited his passion for wine and planted the seeds for what Anaba Wines would eventually become. The name, Anaba, is derived from the anabatic winds that flow through the vineyards that drive morning fog from the vineyards and bring in cooling breezes in the late afternoon.

Known for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Rhone-style wines made from grapes grown on Anaba’s estate in Carneros, as well as from grapes grown by their long-standing Sonoma wine grower partners.
