Founded in 1958, this third-generation, family-owned Dim Sum restaurant is a renowned San Francisco go-to for locals and visitors like. Considered the go-to restaurant for San Francisco movers and shakers looking for Dim Sum, Yank Sing is a restaurant all foodies must check off their list. The menu for the day will include some “off menu” items that are sure to be special. But don’t worry, the famous soup dumplings and custard tarts will be plentiful. Yank Sing, a beloved San Francisco institution for food lovers, has earned both the James Beard Foundation’s America’s Classics Award and recognition from the Michelin Guide with a Bib Gourmand.

Menu: This third-generation upscale dim sum parlor is a favorite for banquets. Owner Vera Chan Waller has created a bespoke menu that starts with a 3 Happiness combination platter of suckling pig, white-cut chicken and barbecue pork. That’s followed by the restaurants signature Kurobuta pork dumplings.
There will also be a trio of their other popular dumplings followed by turnip cakes, sweet potato sea bass roll, Beijing ribs and Chinese broccoli. The meal is capped with Yank Sing Longevity noodles and a dessert platter that includes sesame balls and egg custard tarts.
