Francis Ang and his wife, Dian Ang, give a modern twist to the cuisine of their homeland at Abaca. Having worked at some of the top restaurants in San Francisco  the Angs lightens and brightens the Filipino menu with such brunch dishes as chicken tocino; soft, buttery Pandesal rolls with seasonal spreads; garlic rice; fried oysters; American Wagyu beef;  scrambled eggs and different accompaniments.  Abaca has been named one of America’s 50 best restaurants by the New York Times, and it made Esquire’s best new restaurant list in 2021.

Location:  2700 Jones St. Located in the Kimpton Alton Hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf (Walking Distance from Cruise Terminal)
