Founded by SFJAZZ in 2004, the SFJAZZ Collective is an all-star ensemble and composer’s workshop that represents what’s happening now in jazz, celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2024.
The current ensemble has performed on The Jazz Cruise before and each of its amazing musicians have sailed with us as part of other bands. Join us as Chris Potter (music director, tenor saxophone, winds), David Sanchez (tenor saxophone), Mike Rodriguez (trumpet), Warren Wolf (vibraphone), Edward Simon (piano), Matt Brewer (bass), and Kendrick Scott (drums) take the stage!
Prior to the show (doors open at 11:30AM), guests are welcome to explore the facility, take a quick tour, or join us in a private Open Bar area with drinks and light snacks/canapes reserved just for Jazz Cruises’ guests!

The venue is approx. a 30-minute bus ride or 20- to 30-minute private taxi/ride-share from where the Celebrity Summit will be docked.
Guests may arrange their own transportation to and from the ship or there will be dedicated coach transportation provided by Celebrity Cruises (costs & details TBD).
