Ron Carter will perform with his all-star quartet featuring pianist Renee Rosnes, saxophonist Jimmy Greene and drummer Payton Crossley at the SFJAZZ Center in a land-based concert on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in San Francisco, CA. – BOOK NOW

Yes, Diana Krall will perform in The Theatre onboard the Celebrity Summit on the evening of Saturday, September 13, 2025, while Journey of Jazz is in port in Victoria, BC.

Yes, each excursion includes transportation to and from your destination. Detailed instructions will be delivered to your stateroom on Embarkation Day for Journey of Jazz.

Guests with tickets for the Napa Valley Wine Train Vista Dome Lunch and Gourmet Express Lunch must be physically able to climb up 5 stairs to board the train. Guests with Vista Dome Lunch reservations must also be able to climb an additional flight of stairs to access the upper level of the train.

A full schedule (subject to change) for the cruise will be available online on the website and in the Journey of Jazz app approximately 10 days prior to Embarkation Day. Excursion details will be provided via email approximately one month prior to Embarkation Day. 

During the online purchase process, you will be asked to select a delivery option.

If you select ‘Print at Home’, then your ticket(s) will be automatically sent to the email address used when making the purchase. Please be sure to print your tickets and bring them with you onboard.

If you selected ‘Regular Mail’, ‘Priority Mail’ or ‘International Shipping’, then your ticket(s) will be delivered to the address provided when making the purchase.

If you select ‘Hold at Will Call’, your ticket(s) will be available to pick up at the Box Office on the day of the concert.

Details for the Culinary Tours will be shared with Booked Guests in June 2025.

For the best availability of tours, guests should reserve excursions as soon as possible. For the Wine Tours in Napa Valley and Sonoma, the last day to book any available tours is July 31, 2025.

Guests may book any of the other excursions while onboard the ship, however all reservations are subject to availability. Most of our curated tours are currently over 80% reserved, and we anticipate that most will be Fully Reserved prior to Embarkation Day.

Guests should dress casually for their excursions and have comfortable shoes and a sun hat. We recommend dressing in layers to help you stay comfortable with temperature fluctuations that can occur throughout the day in these regions.

For the Napa Valley Wine Train and Wine Tours, “wine country casual” is generally the best suggested attire, which is a blend of smart-casual and resort wear. This means comfortable, yet stylish apparel if desired

  • Average September Temperatures in Victoria, B.C. are between 53° / 65° F
  • Average September Temperatures in San Francisco are between 56° / 71° F
  • Average September Temperatures in Napa Valley and Sonoma have daytime highs in the mid-80°s F and nighttime lows in the mid-50°s F.

It depends on the mobility requirements and transportation involved with each excursion. Please refer to the notes within the description of your selected tour(s) for specific accessibility levels. Some excursions are accessible, but it varies based on the terrain and transportation.


SCE Planned Excursions (Wine Tours, Land-Based Concerts, Culinary Tours)
Most Journey of Jazz tours involve walking short distances and navigating motor coach steps. Standard-size collapsible wheelchairs or scooters may be accommodated if they fit in the motor coach’s luggage compartment.


Due to limited storage, we ask guests to provide written notice by June 15, 2025, including the dimensions (L x W x H) and weight of the mobility equipment. Please email this information to [email protected].

Please note:

  • Space for mobility devices is limited.
  • Wheelchairs/scooters are not provided.
  • JOJ tour escorts cannot push wheelchairs—guests must self-propel or have a companion assist.
  • The Napa Valley Wine Train requires all guests to navigate steps to board.
