The itinerary for Journey of Jazz ’25, with its extended stays in exciting ports-of-call offers Jazz Cruises the opportunity to provide land based excursions with the same degree of excellence that we present with our onboard events.  As our gift to our guests, the excursions are priced at cost and all expenses incurred by Jazz Cruises in connection with the production of the events will be borne by us.

VICTORIA, BC

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Journey of Jazz ’25 will be spending an incredible day in Victoria, B.C., one of North America’s most beautiful cities.  In addition to the customary excursions that Celebrity Cruises offers, Jazz Cruises will present an assortment of unique excursions, including a concert by superstar vibist, Warren Wolf.

SAN FRANCISCO

On Tuesday, September 16, and Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Journey of Jazz ’25 will be spending two incredible days in San Francisco where we will be offering an assortment of once-in-a-lifetime excursions. While in San Francisco, the customary amazing concerts and shows that Jazz Cruises has produced for 25 years will be presented as usual. However, each day, guests will have several excursion or event options which they can reserve.

Of note will be a concert each day at the famed SFJazz venue, one of the world’s finest theaters.  On Tuesday, Jazz Cruises will proudly present the SFJazz Collective in concert.  That ensemble includes Chris Potter (music director, tenor & soprano saxophones), David Sánchez (tenor saxophone), Mike Rodriguez (trumpet), Warren Wolf (vibraphone), Edward Simon (piano),
Matt Brewer (bass), and Kendrick Scott (drums).

On Wednesday, Jazz Cruises will present the iconic Ron Carter in concert.  Joining Carter are Renee Rosnes (piano), Jimmy Greene (saxophone), and Payton Crossley (drums). 

For both shows, cruise guests will have top priority when purchasing tickets.

You will notice that several of the offerings on Tuesday and Wednesday in San Francisco are identical. Due to the limited capacity of these tours, we wanted as many of our guests to have the opportunity to experience these fantastic excursions as possible. We suggest making note of the “Reference #” associated with each excursion that you have interest in and pay particular attention to which day you prefer. This will assist you later during the booking process.
