The Experience

Like all Signature Cruise Experiences’ cruise programs, Journey of Jazz ’27, will present hours and hours of the very best jazz and blues musicians and vocalists during its 7-Day voyage. Each night, guests will be attending a “Main Show” in The Theater, as well as music, dancing and events throughout the ship. On Days at Sea, the hours are filled with more great music, interviews, master classes, parties and more. The onboard performance schedule is robust, diverse, and first-class in every way.

UNDERSTANDING THE JOURNEY OF JAZZ

The Journey of Jazz ’27 offers our guests a luxurious jazz cruise program that includes our customary bountiful musical experiences on the ship, but also provides an array of glamorous and exciting “in port” New Orleans excursions and events.

The combination of a robust onboard program and a highly-curated schedule of great land-based events will provide our guests with the Jazz Life experience, authentic New Orleans style.

FIRST CLASS MUSIC EXPERIENCE

When it comes to presenting a lineup for jazz at sea, we have been doing that longer, better, and more often than anyone in the world. Journey of Jazz ’27 continues that tradition and more, by anchoring its world-class program in the music’s birthplace.

Hosted by jazz legends Marcus Miller, Gregory Porter and New Orleans’ own Wynton Marsalis, the cruise features a stellar cast of musicians, including iconic and rising stars.

GREAT VENUES, PRODUCTION & PROGRAMMING

Our team of creative experts is simply unmatched in their ability to develop and present top-flight and exciting programs, shows, events and parties. Here’s a partial list of what you will experience:

Nightly Main Shows • Festival-Style Lounge Shows • All Star Shows with unique configurations • Late Nightclub for Dancing • Cocktail Hour Performances • Pool Shows • T-Shirt Party • Theme Parties • Autograph Sessions • Artist Interactive Activities • Q&A’s with Artists • Music Seminars • One-of-a-Kind Culinary Events • Hilarious Gameshows

On most music charters, ports-of-call are diversions from the music being presented, providing shopping, sightseeing and recreational activities. Journey of Jazz ’27 provides those activities, but much more. Our mission is to expand our guests’ knowledge of jazz by enjoying, first-hand, those iconic places and experiences that are synonymous with Jazz and Jazz Life. Journey of Jazz ‘27’s primary stop will be two full days in New Orleans, the undisputed birthplace of Jazz. During that time, we will be your guide for the sounds, smells, tastes, and events that make New Orleans such a magical place.

The excursions, shows, dining and tourist activities that will be available to you have been selected and curated by Signature Cruise Experiences in association with our colleagues and friends in New Orleans. Many of the offerings are unique to our guests and all of the offerings are supported by our team.
