Departure Time: 8:15AM
Step into history with an exclusive, curated visit to The National WWII Museum. This experience combines immersive storytelling, expert-guided exploration, and rare behind-the-scenes access to authentic World War II artifacts.
Your visit opens with Beyond All Boundaries, the Museum’s award-winning 4D cinematic experience presented in the Solomon Victory Theater. Narrated and produced by Tom Hanks, the immersive 48-minute production follows America’s path through World War II, beginning with the attack on Pearl Harbor and continuing through the Allied victory on V-J Day. Through a sophisticated blend of projection mapping, archival footage, surround sound, atmospheric lighting, and motion-based seating effects, the presentation vividly conveys the scale, urgency, and human impact of the global conflict.
Many consider this the emotional centerpiece of the museum experience.
Following the film, guests will enjoy a privately guided highlights tour led by a Museum staff expert. Equipped with personal headsets for ease of listening throughout the galleries, this guided experience offers insight into some of the Museum’s most significant exhibits and stories. Unlike public tours, the private format allows personalized pacing and in-depth Q&A.
The experience concludes with an exclusive private artifact review, providing rare access beyond the public galleries to interact with genuine WWII artifacts from the Museum’s private Center for Collections & Archives.
